The standard version of Click Tac Toe can only play X. This version is always free. There is a registered version which can play either O or X. Registration is a once only charge of $US5.00, but for a limited time the full version is also totally free. TOP

To find your player number you need to run the game on your phone and select the 'Play O' option. You many need to scroll to the bottomof the screen to see the 6 digit number. TOP

When I run Click Tac Toe, I get the message "Click Tac Toe only runs on phones which support the Java/Bluetooth interface"
Click Tac Toe will only work on phones which have the JSR 82 Java/Bluetooth interface library pre-installed on the phone. Some model phones do not support this library. If you check the specifications for you phone and find that it does have JSR 82 (sometimes called btapi) but you get this message please be sure to report the problem by clicking HERE. TOP

When the game has started I press the button to place a piece but nothing happens.
This can simply mean that you have run out of ammo. Some beginner players don't realize that they only have 6 pieces that can be placed. It can also mean that on your phone the Java Fire button is not the one you expect. In all cases you should be able to press the number 5 key to place pieces. TOP

When I am trying to use the 'Play X' or the 'Play O' options I get to a waiting screen but I never connect to my friends phone.
On some model mobile phones you will need to change the settings on your mobile phone to turn Bluetooth on before you start the game. Some model phones even have a bug which means you need to turn Bluetooth on and off before you start playing. TOP

I get a 'Link Broken' display in the middle of a game.
This can happen if your friend gets an incoming call in the middle of the game or if they stop the game for some other reason. It can also happen if the Bluetooth connection fails for some reason. Bluetooth was designed for short range communications. For best results you should be about 1 to 2 meters from your friend when you are playing. TOP
